Counseling InternKimberly Butcher, Intern
I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Liberty University. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Human Resources, and a master’s certificate in Paralegal studies.
Across my academic and professional journey, my focus has remained consistent: helping people grow, stabilize, and thrive through both structured support and compassionate understanding. During my time as a victim advocate, I supported juveniles and domestic violence victims in the legal process to help them rebuild after traumatic events. After working inside the public school system, I discovered that my greatest passion lies in working with children and adolescents. I am especially drawn to helping you people navigate emotional challenges, build resilience, and develop healthy coping skills during critical stages of development. I believe every child deserves to feel safe, seen, and supported, and I am committed to being a steady, encouraging presence in that process. I also value supporting families as a whole, recognizing how deeply connected individual and family well-being truly are. I also have a strong commitment to support individuals and families experiencing homelessness by helping them build stability, confidence, and opportunities for self-sufficiency and long-term independence.
