My Personal Story
In 2011, my life changed forever. I lost my fiancé to a drunk driver—I was there when it
happened. The experience left me struggling to cope, unsure of how to grieve such a profound
loss. Though I had experienced grief before, nothing prepared me for this.
I understand firsthand how trauma and grief impact our lives. While we don’t simply “get over”
loss, we can learn to move through it. As your therapist, I will walk alongside you, helping you
find the best path to healing.
My Professional Background
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Henderson State University and
spent nearly a decade working in social services, including as a case manager and with
Children and Family Services in Arkansas. After my fiancé’s passing, I realized my true
calling was in therapy. I went on to earn a Master’s in Marriage and Family and Community
Counseling from John Brown University.
